About us
Liquid Drop Energy is an indigenous dangerous goods transporter duly registered, and it
has obtained a license to transport petroleum products across the country as well
as to transit petroleum products to the landlocked neighboring countries such as
Zimbabwe, Malawi, Zambia, and DR Congo.
The company was formed following the increasing demand of petroleum products
for example, petrol, diesel, paraffin and gas in South Africa and the rest of
Southern Africa. The company primarily focuses on transporting petroleum
products from oil depots to the desired destination across the country and to
landlocked neighboring countries in Southern Africa.
Company Background
Liquid drop Energy founded by David Chimbirimbiri in 2020, it’s a transport
company carrying dangerous goods. The scope of the products carried by liquid
drop is diesel, paraffin, petrol, and gas. It operates within South Africa and
seldomly crosses the boarder to countries within Southern Africa. Our Fleet
consist of two tanker trucks with the capacity of 38 tons each. Both trucks are
registered as dangerous goods vehicles. They are also inspected yearly to see if
they are still up to date with the rules and regulations.
The director has vast experience in dealing and handling dangerous goods. He
acquired this experience whilst working for Henrobulk Carriers as a driver since
2010 to 2018. He has been handling oil from Durban to Namibia, also to increase
his capability to handle dangerous goods, he did induction courses on how to
handle dangerous goods as well as doing refresher courses every year. This
experience has helped him to gain knowledge to the point of starting liquid drop
energy.
Our Aim
Our aim is to deliver fuel to our customers at a reasonable turnaround time. In order to facilitate this, we aim to improve the way dangerous goods are handled. Our drivers need to be considered as well as they need to be physically fit to load and deliver fuel to different places.
